An Austro-Hungarian fort will greet you as you walk through the unbridled nature on this hiking Montenegro tour. Hit the road to the peak of Vrmac called Sveti Ilija (Saint Eliah) hiking through the rutted, grassy spiraling roads and blossoming forest trails – or the other way around if you prefer – downward to Tivat or Kotor depending on where you’d like us to kick off the hike.

The majestic view spreading from the highest point on our hiking trail will leave you speechless – you will revel in the views of Tivat and Herceg Novi from one side, and Kotor from the other, both perfectly framed in the surrounding wilderness and the Mediterrenean sea Montenegro boasts of. What's Included?

Guide and hiking backpack (if needed). Transfers can be arranged by prior agreement. Towels, refreshments and fruits.

What to bring

Pack plenty of water, comfortable closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and light, breathable clothing. Don't forget to pack your closed-toed shoes as well. Remember that, especially during the shoulder seasons, the air may be 3-5 degrees cooler at the start of the tour. As a result, it's advised to also bring a fleece or windbreaker for additional warmth and security.

Safety

The tour we offer involves a considerable amount of physical exertion and demands a notable level of expertise in mountain biking, as well as a strong degree of physical stamina. In order to partake, we utilize bicycles that are designed for adults, meaning that the tour is restricted to individuals who are at least 16 years of age. To guarantee that each participant is fitted with an appropriately sized bicycle, we request that the height of each rider be provided in advance.
