Roughly an hour-long clamber from Kotor there lies the canyon of the river Skudra, embellished with delicate, smooth slopes, tunnels and waterfalls.

Experiencing the wonders of the Skudra canyon, often hidden from the typical tourist map, involves some demanding climbing at the beginning. Certainly the view is worth the climb – you’ll be amazed by the most exciting landscape hiking Montenegro has to offer.

A thrilling climb will get us into the canyon, through which we will cascade down the monolith walls, passing through sparkling waterfalls and vertical tunnels. Ultimately, we’ll end the hiking tour right where we started – in Kotor. You’ll be in good hands of our well equipped, professional guides who’ll make sure this trip is convenient for people of all levels of physical stamina and dexterity. The canyon is mostly dry, however, we advise you to pack a bathing suit, sunscreen and to tag along with someone as cool as you.

What's Included?

Guide and all equipment - helmet and harness. Our experienced guides are trained in first aid and emergency response procedures. Refreshments and fruits.

What to bring

Pack plenty of water, comfortable closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and light, breathable clothing. Don't forget to pack your closed-toed shoes as well. Remember that, especially during the shoulder seasons, the air may be 3-5 degrees cooler at the start of the tour. As a result, it's advised to also bring a fleece or windbreaker for additional warmth and security.

Safety

Participants must be in the good physical condition and follow the guides' instructions and use caution when climbing and hiking in the canyon. Please check with the tour provider before booking to ensure that the tour is suitable for individuals with certain physical disabilities and young children.
