Saddle your kayak or SUP and travel back in time when Rijeka Crnojevica was the largest Montenegrin port and the leading trading center, particularly prized for its authentic culinary delicacy – dried bleak. Often referred to as Montenegro’s Venice, Rijeka Crnojevića will be our base port from where we’ll paddle straight into the heart of the Skadar lake National park. This area is the pulsating heart of Montenegro’s wildlife – from relict plants, endemic floating vegetation to an astonishing variety of bird species.

Since Skadar Lake basin is truly one of a kind (and you can check it within your search engine) you will easily be smitten by its beauties. On our way back from this state of wonders, you’ll wind down on a slow boat ride through the wilderness of Montenegro. I’ll serve you a delicious dinner, composed of local homemade delicacies, to replenish your body and soul. What's Included?

Guide and All equipment - kayak or SUP, paddle, PFD and a dry bag. Transfers can be arranged by prior agreement. Towels, refreshments and fruits.

What to bring

Pack plenty of water, comfortable closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and light, breathable clothing. Don't forget to pack your closed-toed shoes as well. Remember that, especially during the shoulder seasons, the air may be 3-5 degrees cooler at the start of the tour. As a result, it's advised to also bring a fleece or windbreaker for additional warmth and security.

Safety

You don't need any prior kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) experience to join us, but we do recommend that you have the ability to swim in deep water. To ensure your safety, our guides will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and lesson before we embark on our adventure. While the minimum age requirement is 12, we do make exceptions for younger participants who are strong swimmers, as long as they're accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask us.

Weather

When bad, it's our worst enemy, so we closely monitor it to ensure your safety and enjoyment. We’ll try to promptly reschedule your tour, otherwise, you'll receive a full refund.
